    This page is NOT for challenging the outcome of deletion discussions or to address the pending deletion of any page.

    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). Be clear as to which namespace is intended, when requesting the restoration of a deleted article.

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    A few days ago, user Kriji Sehamati was confirmed as a sock puppet. Before this confirmation, the same user had started Articles for Deletion (AfD) discussions on 4 to 5 articles.     @S-Aura: Not done This is not the place to request deletion reviews, you need to go to WP:DRV for that. That said, with 2 'delete' !votes vs. 1 'keep', the closure does seem correct, so I'm not sure on what basis you would be requesting the review? But I guess that's for you to determine, not me.      Not done No offense, but there is no way on Earth the self-praising, fulsome advertisement you wrote would ever be accepted as an article. This looks like a cover letter for a job application, written by the subject or by his adoring mother. It does not in any way resemble an actual article about an actually notable person. It is impossible to salvage, because there is nothing there to salvage.

    Western Allies

    The topic is obviously notable and exists on many other Wikis (Wikidata). We had an AfD for this but for a topic of such scope I consider the participation to be lackluster, and the arguments, likewise uninspiring. See also my comment at Talk:Allies_of_World_War_II#Western_Allies. That said, maybe the article was very bad. I'd ask for it to be restored to draftspace or my userspace (or just soft deleted, with history restored to the redirect - I very much doubt it was bed enough it needed to be revision-hidden), so I can see what, if anything, from it can be reused - I'll probably recreate that article anyway, using RS, in the foreseeable future, since, as I said, it is clearly a notable topic and separate from the article it currently redirects to. —Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:32, 4 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
